The South Shore FACT group in Port Wing plastered sevenfive10 post-it notes all over their school. The orange sticky notes could not be missed as you walked down the halls of South Shore High School.
The Winnebago FACT group was promoting sevenfive10 at Country USA this year. They handed out buttons, stickers, tattoos and stenciled sevenfive10 on the grass in front of their booth. The youth enjoyed talking sevenfive10 to all the country music fans!
The FACT group in Racine called Focus on Community held a FACT Party to celebrate their success this year. They worked hard educating their peers and community about why WI would be new and improved.
All of you have helped make sevenfive10 a successful day where people will remember and live it forever. All of your hard work in educating your peers about Smoke Free WI has truly paid off. Here is the run down of FACT's successes within the past 6 months:

New FACT members "ho...ho...ho'd" their way in the Christmas Themed North Fondy Fest Parade. They handed out sevenfive10 buttons, stickers, tattoos to "all the little boys and girls." The truck that toed their float was plastered with posters the youth created. All across the land the FACT members could be heard saying, “Wisconsin-It’s New, It’s Improved, It’s Smoke-Free.”
Youth from Wautoma High School made FACT flyers about WI going smoke free and hung them up in different businesses to promote the new law.
FACT youth from Waukesha got up extra early to hand out free breakfast coupons and tote bags to the first 100 people who came out to celebrate sevenfive10. We all love waking up to a smoke free WI.
Wisconsin Is NOW Smoke Free!!!!! All of our hard work has paid off. Sevenfive10 was an amazing day to go out and celebrate a new and improved WI!! 21 events were held across the state to celebrate this new law. FACT youth from all over spray chalked and handed out sevenfive10 buttons and stickers at many of these events. Go out and enjoy the clean air!
A group of combined FACT groups from Milwaukee went to Madison to meet with their legislators on sevenfive10. They talked about what they have been doing in Milwaukee to edcuated their community and bring awareness that this law is right around the corner. They also took a tour of the capitol and met with the Gov's staff members to present them with a framed sevenfive10 t-shirt.
Governor Doyle held a press conference in Milwaukee to celebrate the Smoke Free Air law that will go into affect on Monday! One Milwaukee FACT youth presented why she was excited about the new law and was able to introduce the Gov. Other FACT youth held signs and spray chalked the sidewalks with sevenfive10 stencils.
