La Crosse Creates Billboard for OTP

La Crosse FACT created a billboard to showcase all the other tobacco products(OTP) that BT is marketing to youth. They used 15 sheets of tag board, rats, caution tape, candy products along with tobacco packages that look like candy. This billboard travled to many of their events around La Crosse.

DIY Tees Created by Rapids FACT

Sevenfive10 Fortune Cookies

The Rock County FACT youth made sevenfive10 frotune cookies to hand out at their local parade and community events. The cookies had messages like "Smoke Free Air is in your future" and "Wisconsin becomes a smoke-free state on 7-5-10."

La Crosse FACT Talk Candy-Flavored Tobacco

The La Crosse area FACT group presented to Representative Schilling, County Board Members, and members from the community to talk about the increase of candy-flavored tobacco products in their community. These products target teens and young people by their colors, flavors, and ease of use. The 3 youth were also able to show examples of these new products  which are being test marked in Oregon; Indianapolis and Ohio.

Lancaster FACT Goes Dairy

The Lancaster FACT group partnered with the Iowa County Dairy Breakfast to spread the "moooos" about sevenfive10. Buttons were handed out to everyone there and conversation about the new smoke-free air law could be heard throughout the breakfast.  The youth reached over 150 people in just a couple of hours. The Lancaster FACT group is certainly the "cream" of the crop.

Students in La Crosse waited in line to get their sevenfive10 tattoo ticket. Once they put on their tattoo they got a root beer float from A&W. A sweet treat for promoting sevenfive10.

On Thursday the St. Gabriel's Church FACT group stenciled the sevenfive10 message all over the church sidewalks and stairs. They are the newest group to join FACT in promoting Smoke Free WI!

Winneconne FACT Celebrates with Sen. Ellis

The Winneconne FACT group threw a t-shirt-making party that was held on Friday May 21 at Winneconne High School. Senator Mike Ellis stopped by and the FACT members gave him with a homemade sevenfive10 t-shirt. The t-shirt also came with a BIG thanks for the Senator as he was one of the co-authors of the Statewide Smoke-Free Air Law.  Thanks to his support and leadership with this Bill, Wisconsin will be better smoke-free!
